(Note please excuse some technical difficulties. Tadd has been working on his computer and despite making sure everything was working an hour or so before the stream it of course went ot shit right as the show started) It is mostly fine but there is a bit of roughness in the first few minutes.)

In the latest Round Table Tadd and Peter talk about The Long Walk and a bit about The Institute (Peter has finished it but Tadd has not yet) adaptations. Then dive into the news including Rat is getting another try as an adaptation, Edgar Wright is obviously changing the end of The Running Man (and King approves), Tarantino has maybe the dumbest take on IT we have ever heard, some interesting facts on Salem’s Lot to celebrate it’s 50th Anniversary, an interview with Tom Gordon on King using him in the book that bears his name, and one guy ranks the top 10 King novels in two lists one for the 20th and another for the 21st century. In the latest Book Club for Wizard and Glass Tadd and Peter find themselves in the pre-dawn hours of Reaping Day. Roland and his Ka-Tet regroup after blowing up Citgo and take stock of their  weapons and lay out their plans. Roland and Susan talk about the odds she sees them again. Jonas and Clay with a small group (including Rhea and the ball) ride for Hanging Rock, but the ball wakes up and shows alerts Jonas that the boys are nearby and Susan is alone at a hut in the tall grass.

In the latest Book Club Mejis is still reeling and hedging on panic from the murders from early that morning. Susan sees this panic and is taken up in it herself, but her panic is more for the accused. She rides quickly through town and winds up back at her old house and has a huge blowup with Cordelia and ashes. Later she sees the Coffin Hunters riding back to town with Rhea. She makes preparations for her plan at the hut with Roland’s guns. Fran Lengyll has a meeting that sets the town towards a slow burn that will be a brutal end for our boys. Susan meets up with Sheemie who is ready to help.

In the latest Book Club Tadd and Peter get to one of the more underrated  great moments in the series, when Roland identifies the backstory of Jonas as a failed gunslinger. Susan is shaken awake and told of the murders. The Coffin Hunters prepare the rest of their plan now that the boys are jailed. Rhea sees the peculiar habits of a specific woman of Mejis through the ball and is interrupted by the Coffin Hunters who have come to take Farson’s property in a tense moment she convinces them to take her with the ball.
